About Boonty
Boonty is a French startup founded in 2023 and based in Bordeaux. It builds an app for payment terminals that connects payment and loyalty: when a customer pays, their payment card becomes their loyalty card.
What Boonty does
Traditional loyalty programs ask customers for a card, an app or a form, and most of them never join. Boonty removes that step: the app, installed on the merchant's payment terminal, recognises the customer's bank card through an anonymous technical identifier and credits their points automatically.
Boonty aims to run on every brand of payment terminal and to work with any loyalty solution or CRM. When no connector exists yet, the Boonty team builds a custom integration. The terminal can also show configurable ad placements during payment.
Customers are never asked for personal data: no name, no email, no phone number. The solution is GDPR-compliant and available as a white label.
